Chinese New Year Red Envelopes!

January 28, 2017 is Chinese New Year, and 2017 is the year of the Rooster!

One way that Chinese New Year is traditionally celebrated in China is for red envelopes containing money to be given, especially to children. Red is considered a symbol of energy, happiness, and good luck, and sending red envelopes is a way to send good wishes and good luck for the New Year and to bestow happiness and blessings on the receivers.

To help First Hugs celebrate Chinese New Year and to bless our sweet babies, the first 100 people who donate a minimum of $10 (click here to donate and be sure to include your mailing address) will receive two Chinese New Year Red Envelopes. Your Envelopes will be mailed via USPS first class mail.
